Hello! I am a curious and passionate retired educator with an unwavering love for both learning and teaching. For thirty-one wonderful years, I had the privilege of teaching elementary school in the vibrant community of Tigard, Oregon. I found immense happiness in my role, where each day was filled with the energy of enthusiastic young minds eager to learn. The connections I forged with my students were truly fulfilling, as I learned just as much from them as they did from me.
Now that I am retired, my desire to create and challenge myself has only intensified. This website is a space I’ve crafted for those who are also passionate about learning and teaching, inviting you to join me on this journey. I would be thrilled to hear about your own interests, as well as any questions or feedback you might have.
Currently, I am working on a book titled "How Are the Children? Instilling a Love of Learning in the Classroom." This project is particularly close to my heart, as I aim to share my teaching experiences and insights in hopes of inspiring others to infuse more joy and enthusiasm into their classrooms. My mission is to share my knowledge and experiences to empower educators to create nurturing environments where students can thrive and develop a lifelong love for learning. Children are miraculous, and we have so much to learn from them!
